Save Our Sixth Form: Open Meeting

The St. Joseph’s school community, past and present, came together on Thursday 20th November to discuss the future of our school and Sixth Form. There was a fantastic turn out, with standing room only and some still queuing outside to get in well after the meeting had started. We were delighted to welcome Welsh Assembly Members David Rees, Peter Black, Bethan  Jenkins and Suzy Davies, representing the four main parties, and to hear of their unequivocal support for our school and Sixth Form.

Throughtout the evening, informative and passionate presentations were given by students, staff, governors and the PTA, and there was an opportunity for questions and answers. The message from everyone who spoke was clear: we will fight to save our Sixth Form and to ensure our school continues to serve the pupils of Neath and Port Talbot for years to come.

News and updates will be posted here, on the Save our Sixth Form Facebook group and on our Twitter feed.
