Feast Day Celebrations for St Joseph the Worker

Today all at the school celebrated the feast day of our patron saint – St Joseph the Worker.

A whole school mass was celebrated with over 700 of our pupils and students from all year groups along with teachers, staff and governors assembling in the Barn. Mass was celebrated by our School Chaplain, Fr John Browne with Fr Paul Watson (Parish Priest of Our Lady of Margam Parish and one of our Foundation Governors), Fr Clement Oluruntoba (Parish Priest of Briton Ferry) and Deacon Jim Caddick from St Joseph’s, Neath. The whole school community is very grateful for the support of our visiting clergy today and on many other occasions during the academic year.

It was a wonderful uplifting occasion for the whole school community to come together.

The official feast day of St Joseph the Worker is May 1st – however due to the Bank Holiday we held our celebrations today.
