15 past pupils returned to their primary school today to help out and assist with their annual Sunflower Day. The day celebrated its 21st year with all money raised going to
Dr Askill’s Radiotherapy and Treatment fund.
Over the years, St. Joseph’s Primary School in Clydach have raised in excess of £70,000 with today’s celebrations and vibrant concert raising over £2000.
This year’s theme was music from the decades and the audience was treated to musical tributes such as ‘School’s out for Summer’ which was performed fantastically by Year 2 pupils and ‘Splish Splash’ which saw Year 6 pupils sporting shower caps!
A superb time was had by all.
