Recently, our Year 11 pupils visited the National Theatre, Cardiff to see Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers, a heartbreaking story of twins separated at birth and reunited in an unlikely friendship. Twenty-eight Year 11 pupils were fortunate to attend the theatre to see the 30th anniversary UK tour of Blood Brothers, one of London’s top five longest-running musicals. Set in Liverpool in the swinging sixties, the show features much-loved songs such as ‘Tell Me It’s Not True’ and Year 11 left the theatre still singing the tunes. They thoroughly enjoyed the performance and look forward to studying the play in the spring term.
