On Friday 13th October, the whole school celebrated Diwrnod Shwmae. This annual event is celebrated all over Wales and is an opportunity for people to have fun and share the Welsh language. The day is celebrated by starting every conversation with Shwmae or Su’mae! The event aims to show that the Welsh language belongs to us all. Staff and pupils had fun greeting each other throughout the day in Welsh. The 6th formers enjoyed selling Welsh cakes at breaktime and all pupils wore red, green or white to celebrate the day.
