Following requests for an additional Information Evening, this session has been arranged to give all students (those who have applied or not) the opportunity to visit the Sixth Form and find out more information. This will take place on Wednesday 6th March from 4pm to 6pm. It is aimed at those who wish to find out more about university applications or what subjects to take for potential future careers; those who want to find out more about the subjects on offer in the Sixth Form and who want to find out about Sixth Form life.
One part will focus on Russell Group universities and associated degree courses from Medicine to Law to Engineering and their likely entry requirements, while the second strand will look more at Vocational routes with emphasis on the health, care, teaching and public sectors for some of the session.
There will be two options for the session which will start with presentations in the lecture theatre and will repeat for the second hour.
16:00 and 17:00: Introduction
16:05 and 17:05: University Entry and Vocational Pathways
16:35 and 17:35: Sixth Form Information
