Uniform, PE Kit and Equipment
Dear Parents and Guardians
Please click on the link below for further details relating to our school uniform and PE/Games Kit in readiness for our 2022/23 academic year.
It is extremely important that we maintain high expectations for all our learners, doing all we reasonably can to help them take pride in themselves and their school community, to be ready for learning and to prepare them for a responsible adult life. Please note that the following items are not permitted in school:
- Hoodies
- Facial piercings
- Earrings that are not studs
- Above the knee skirts
- Leggings / tracksuit bottoms (outside of PE lessons)
- Denim
We have a new unisex PE/Games Kit that can be bought from our supplier, Bergoni. The kit is compulsory for all our new Yr.7 Pupils starting in September and optional to all year groups (Yr.8-11). Pupils can continue to wear our unisex green / red kit this year, should they choose to do so.
It is also essential that learners bring to school each day a school bag containing the basic equipment for engaging with lessons (e.g. pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, sharpener, planner).
From the beginning of our new academic year 2022/23, school staff will carefully monitor pupils’ uniform, PE/Games Kit and equipment. Pupils who refuse to comply with school expectations on uniform and piercings will not be permitted to join their usual classes. Repeated or sustained refusal will likely result in more serious sanctions.
